Think of it this way: Our Memberships (like Full Membership or VIP Membership) grant you access to specific site features and perks. Ranks (such as Recruit, Legate, etc., earned through Heart Points) are visual indicators of your ongoing activity and progress within the community; they do not grant any additional permissions or features, but rather showcase your approximate Heart Point total to others. The VIP Membership, conversely, is a special, honorary membership bestowed upon a select few, recognizing their exceptional overall contributions to the Swagnilla Ice community.

- Priority Access: Access to polls, screenshots, real life photos from behind the scenes, and exclusive forums. In the future, it will also include ad-free access to the whole site!
- Special Recognition: Prominent display on our VIP member page and shout-outs across our platforms like signs in Minecraft worlds and characters getting named after you.
- Direct Engagement: Opportunities for direct input on future projects and initiatives, including those related to Project Green Light.
- Unique Experiences: Invitations to exclusive events, both online and in person in the future.
How VIPs Are Chosen
The Swagnilla Ice VIP Membership is not something you can apply for; it’s an honor bestowed upon individuals who have genuinely earned it through their actions. Each year, on June 1st, the Swagnilla Ice team (currently our founder) carefully selects zero to two new VIP members. In the future, as our community grows and a dedicated committee is formed, this committee will take on the responsibility of selection, and staff members will be able to nominate non-staff community members for consideration. To allow sufficient time for evaluation, all nominations will close by May 1st each year. The team (or future committee) then reviews nominations based on a holistic assessment of a member’s consistent positive influence, dedication, and overall impact within the Swagnilla Ice community, including an review of their heart point logs and overall activity on the community website. While a high Heart Point rank may contribute to your visibility, it does not guarantee VIP Membership, and any attempts to artificially inflate points through spamming or unconstructive engagement will disqualify a candidate. Please note: While we deeply appreciate the past dedication of our former Twitch and Discord VIPs, moderators, and administrators, it’s essential that they prove themselves worthy of this rank on our new community website before they will be considered for this exclusive status.
Maintaining Your VIP Status
While the Swagnilla Ice VIP Membership is a lifelong honor, it is also a privilege. To ensure the integrity and exclusivity of this rank, VIP status can be revoked for actions that go against our community guidelines or for prolonged inactivity on our community site. This ensures that our VIP roster truly represents the most active and dedicated members of the Swagnilla Ice family.
