Creative Engineering E33: My New Mob Farm!

Welcome back to Creative Engineering! In this episode, I’ll walk you through how to use Easy Mob Farms to collect mob drops quickly and easily. I’ll also share some of my favorite tips for improving your designs and making them even more efficient. By the time this is done, we’ll have a fully functional building, which I’ll show off in the next episode. Don’t miss out, because our next project is building a paper factory for crafting tons of firework rockets!

Creative Engineering E32: Automating Firework Shows with Create!

I’m so excited to share this episode with you all, because we just hit 100 subscribers on YouTube! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for subscribing. To celebrate, I’ll walk you through how I set up an automated firework launcher and upgraded my storage limits in Functional Storage. The next few episodes will be all about automating the materials for these firework rockets, so be sure to tune in!

Creative Engineering E30: Terminals and Automated Glass & Charcoal

In this new episode of Creative Engineering, Swag updates the YouTube subscriber count to thank you for your support, then dives into creating the terminals you need to control your Integrated Dynamics network. After that, he begins setting up glass and charcoal lines for a new factory that will eventually automate menril shards and menril glass.

Thanks for all your support! As a thank you to our Full Members (and above), you can download a world save and the beta version of this modpack to help find bugs and test it out!

Creative Engineering E29: Importing and Exporting with Integrated Dynamics

Welcome to another episode of Creative Engineering! Having just updated the signs for my members and subscribers, I’m back to building the network with Integrated Dynamics. I’ll demonstrate how the importing and exporting features work, all while bypassing the in-game tutorials. My aim is to have all the cables attached to the machines and storage units before the next episode so the network will be ready for the Integrated Dynamics displays. Stay tuned to see if I can survive and thrive in this flat-world challenge!

Creative Engineering E28: Learning Integrated Dynamics From Scratch

What happens when I decide to replace a core system in my world? After celebrating our latest subscriber milestone and adding our community site members to the sign, I make a huge decision. I’m taking out Refined Storage and learning Integrated Dynamics from the ground up, following the tutorial books. Will I be able to build a new system that works just as well? Watch to see my progress and how a new automation system takes shape.

Gradually Embedding My YouTube Content Here

I’I’m excited to announce that I’m gradually embedding my YouTube content here for everyone to enjoy, and you don’t need to be a member to watch any of it (at least for now). I’ve planned out a schedule to make this process smooth and engaging for you all.

Here’s what you can expect:

  • Daily Episodes: I’ll be embedding five episodes per day.
  • Current Series: I’ll start by finishing the embedding of Swag’s Mini Peaceful Pack, as that series is already halfway done.
  • Classic Seasons: After that, I’ll move on to the first seasons of Banished and Factorio.
  • Current Seasons: Once those are caught up, I’ll start adding new episodes as I post them to YouTube.
  • Creative Engineering: Following that, I’ll embed the first season of Creative Engineering, which currently has 24 episodes. After that, I’ll resume work on that series.
  • Special Releases: I might also release Creative Engineering as a beta modpack for my Full Members and VIP Members. If I do, I’ll start releasing world downloads for them every twenty-fifth episode. However, I don’t anticipate this series reaching one hundred episodes.
  • Other Series: After Creative Engineering is embedded here, I’ll work to embed the rest of my content from oldest to youngest, including my tech series, Swag’s Computers.

I hope this update convinces you to join our community and enjoy not only the embedded content but also our awesome forums and podcast, in addition to these blog posts. Stay tuned for more exciting updates!

Don’t expect a Minecraft video…

Aside

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but if you are expecting a Minecraft video to be published on my YouTube channel tomorrow, please discard that idea. Due to how long an episode takes to create and how much work outside my home I am currently doing to pay my bills, I do not have the time nor the energy to record one. I’m so tired that I’m not even working on my private work in the evenings, like I do when I don’t get steady work.

If you really wish to see episodes at a more steady pace, consider supporting me. If I had a steady income to pay my bills and buy groceries, I could focus more on creating content and less on the need to earn money to pay bills every month.

Creative Engineering E27: Automating the Sawmill!

In this Creative Engineering episode focusing on the Minecraft Create Mod, I tackle a massive automation project: setting up my very own sawmill! Watch me build intricate processing lines and storage systems, ensuring a constant supply of essential resources. I’ll show you how I automate everything from making bamboo blocks and oak planks to efficiently stripping raw bamboo, oak, and jungle logs. This powerful new setup is crucial for expanding my Steampunk/Industrial base. Got ideas for my next big factory or automation project? Drop your tips and suggestions in the comments below – I’d love to consider them!
