Swag Plays Factorio Episode 51

In this episode, I finish electrifying my steel production, and add more iron plate production directly to my logistics network.

In this episode, I electrify my iron and copper smelters after increasing my power production due to a shortage of coal which I also deal with.

In this episode, I find out I need military science packs to get to my end goal of launching a rocket, so after doing the necessary research that I had neglected up to this point, I set up the automation of the production of said research packs.

In this longer than normal episode, I finish the logistics network research, get it setup, and get a new achievement!

In this episode, I continue to improve the factory with upgrades while waiting for the logistics research to be completed.

In this episode, I expand my fish oil and bioplastic production and continue to expand the logistics network.

In this episode, I start setting up the logistics network so that items will be able to be moved around to where they are needed without belts.

In this episode, I reroute the iron ore from the train station to before the first splitter to ensure the factory will have a more steady supply, as I had forgotten that steel also needs iron ore to be processed first. I also do other minor adjustments to try and improve the production.

In this episode, I finish off the new science packs autocrafting, but decide to deliver them manually until my logistics network gets established. I also ensure my iron ore train is working and that enough iron ore will be flowing from it and my first mining area to my factory area.

In this episode, I automate processing units, the last ingredient needed for the newest science pack, and then try to figure out how I’m going to deliver the science packs to my lab area.
