Hi everyone!
As you may know from watching Monday’s Flow & Fortune episode, there is no Minecraft episode today. Don’t worry, as I’ll be launching a new series next week! That means if you are a paid member here, there will be a new modpack for you to beta-test for the next six months before it goes public.
The new series and modpack is called Peaceful Living, and it’s a vast difference from Creative Engineering. There is very little tech involved—my main goal in this new series is to craft as much of the food from Farmer’s Delight as I can, while also working on building a proper town in my own style for my villagers.
As with any of my modpacks, Peaceful Living has been designed specifically for Peaceful mode. If you try playing it in any other mode, you will likely find the pack boring, as you can directly craft the drops that hostile mobs normally give you. My modpacks are designed for version 1.20.1 right now because the core mods I rely on haven’t been updated for more recent releases yet. Plus, I’m not a fan of newer mechanics that lock certain blocks behind specific mob interactions.
Behind the scenes, I’ve also started working on the alpha version of yet another future modpack!
A few quick non-Minecraft updates:
- I am working on my first piece of software in Godot and aiming to have it released here on Swagnilla Ice before the end of the month.
- I’ve been playing a bit of Airport CEO on the side—paid members might see a screenshot or two of my airport soon!
